Oneness Blessing

  FAQ

 What is the Oneness Blessing?
The Oneness Blessing is a transfer of divine, intelligent energy.
The oneness blessing process works by creating a neurobiological shift in the brain and awakening the energy centres (Chakras) in the body. This shift in consciousness frees you from the suffering created by the mind, balances the body’s natural healthy and healing energies and attunes the brain with the fields of unity, bringing an end to the illusion of “apparent separation”. Once initiated, it is a gradual Awakening process that leads you naturally to a lasting state of Oneness, Inner peace, and Well-being.

Why has the Oneness Blessing come at this time?
The Oneness Blessing has come at a time when our planet is going through a major evolutionary transition; this is impacting our environment as well as our individual and collective consciousness.
We are all connected to this process of purification and rejuvination, in effect, we are this process!. In harmony with this transition, Indian Sage and living Avatar, Sri Bhagavan, has initiated the Mukthi (Enlightenment) Oneness Blessing, now called that Oneness Blessing as an aid to our evolution into the collective Oneness State.

Does the Oneness Blessing belong to any particular belief?
The Oneness Blessing does not belong to any religion or belief, it is a ‘dogma free’ universal energy that can be received by anyone*, whichever path they choose to follow. It works uniquely and intelligently to connect you directly with the truth of your own being.

What is the neurobiological shift?
The onenesss blessing balances energy from (overactive) thinking centres of the brain to the (underactive) frontal lobe calming centres. This ‘re wiring’ of the brain enables the senses to become free from the interference of the mind. When the senses are unclouded by the mind’s interpretations, a natural clarity of perception occurs with accompanying feelings of joy, inner peace, connection and Oneness.

How does this connect with the Planetary shift?
Each individual who awakens to their true, original state, has an inter-connected effect on the whole, thus helping humanity on the path to complete Global Transformation.
The more people who attain the Oneness state, the easier it will be for the rest.

Who can receive the Oneness Blessing?
Everyone of every age can now receive the Oneness Blessing.

Who can give the Oneness Blessing?
The Oneness Blessing can be transferred by anyone who has received the transmission and training during a special process in India or attended a oneness awakening course in their own country. The "oneness facilitator" then functions as a channel for the divine energy to transfer to the receiver.

How is the Oneness Blessing Transferred? What might I experience?
The Oneness Blessing is transferred by the facilitator, placing his or her hands onto the crown of your head, usually for about 1 minute. Experiences during the transfer can vary, sometimes strong or subtle. Sometimes the receiver may experience a tingling sensation in the head, sometimes blissful energy flowing through the body, or you may not feel anything at all, this is not so important.
The receiver can trust that no matter what he or she experiences during the transfer, a process depending on your own nature, has been initiated that will lead you gradually (or sometimes suddenly!) into your own, personal Awakening.

Can I speed up the process of transformation?
Once the body’s energy channels and centers are open, the body is more able to receive higher levels of energy. Receiving Oneness Blessing once a week* when combined with Chakra meditation and breath awareness, may enhance the power and grace of this transformation. But only do what feels natural to you, on the path you choose to follow.

How does this energy create change?
Once Oneness Blessing is received, a process begins where one becomes gradually awakened. It is actually a biological process in which each transfer helps to awaken certain neuro-pathways and crucial energies related to enlightenment. Other pathways related to the sense of separation which are considered the primary reason for our suffering, become greatly reduced.

The state of separation is the ordinary state of human consciousness. In this reality, the oneness of life is not seen and instead all things, events and people are experienced as separate. From this perspective, such qualities as competitiveness, pride, dominance, the need to control, loneliness, neediness, insecurity, confusion, boredom and feelings of emptiness arise. Each transfer will help a person to move from the sense of separation towards a sense of connectedness and oneness with life. Here, one begins to realize a deep state of happiness that is naturally arising and free from conditions.

What kind of experiences can I expect?
Most people have experiences of newfound inner peace, joy, harmony, freedom, clarity, self-awareness, balance and/or oneness with life. In some cases, people also have experiences of spiritual awakening, expanded consciousness, universal oneness or deep realizations about oneself, the universe and some even reach God-realization. There are also cases in which some people feel little or nothing. However generally, it takes a series of transfers until one begins to truly feel the effects of this energy. People often have enlightenment experiences and these are meant to lead to a permanent state of enlightenment. While there is no formula for this process, generally speaking, the first few Oneness Blessings are aimed towards clearing energy blocks so this new energy can be received, the next few Oneness Blessings then begin a process of cleansing and purification. The following Oneness Blessings then help to move one into a higher state of being.

I have heard a lot about the idea of enlightenment. What is it really? Is enlightenment really possible in this day and age?
Simply stated, enlightenment is the dissolution of the sense of a fixed, separate self. Once we realize that our concept of the self is an illusion, we become capable of experiencing ourselves as a flow of consciousness that is no longer subject to the limits and conditioning of the mind. And yes, it is possible in this day and age.

Why is that?
It has to do with an evolutionary cycle for humanity and the Earth. We are moving out of a Kali Yuga, an age of darkness and chaos, into a Satya Yuga, an age of awakening into light. This transition began in the year 2003 AD, and will reach a ‘critical mass’ by the end of the year 2012 AD.

How does this neurobiological shift happen?
It happens through means of a transfer of energy known as the ‘Oneness Blessing’, which is programmed by Bhagavan and Amma to re-pattern the structure and physiology of the brain. Once this process completes itself, a person finds himself or herself in a permanent state of enlightenment. This is not necessarily a mystical state, but simply a state of experiencing reality as it is, without the limiting filters and conditioning of the human mind.

Would I have to give up my present lifestyle if I were to become enlightened?
Only if you want to. You do not have to go vegetate in a cave somewhere, unless you feel like it. Bhagavan emphasizes that enlightenment is a very natural state, and that a person would if anything become much more functional, joyful, loving, and efficient in every aspect of life.

How long will it take to become enlightened?
It depends on many factors, including the state of your chakras and nadis, your childhood conditioning, your fears and resistance to change, your concepts of God, and your karmic destiny. Some people have become enlightened with just one Oneness Blessing, others require a much longer period of time. Bhagavan says that everyone, as long as they are in a human body, WILL become enlightened.

What about people who have died?
Once the mass enlightenment takes place, they too will become enlightened, says Bhagavan.

How can you promise enlightenment in such a short time, when so many of us have been struggling for lifetimes without coming an inch closer to this?
It is not so short a time. Humanity has been on the path for a very long time. We have now entered the Golden Age, and new energies are available to humanity that were not available before. Bhagavan says that we have already done our sadhana. Now is the time to complete this journey as a human species.

Is enlightenment the end of our spiritual journey? What comes afterwards?
No, it is like stepping through a doorway into a new world, but the journey is without limits! The journey is just beginning.

How will I know when I become enlightened?
You will know you are enlightened when you are no longer trying to become enlightened. Suffering is essentially the resistance to experiencing reality as it is. Once enlightened you will no longer be forever seeking to change, deny, defend, or deify your experience of reality. You will naturally experience the present moment for what it is.

What does enlightenment look like?
Bhagavan speaks of enlightenment as making a hole in the wall of your mind. For some people it may take a little longer than for others. For some people it may be a tiny crack at first, while for others the entire wall may collapse at once. Regardless of how it happens, once you experience the hole in the wall, you can walk through the hole into a different perception of reality. Our senses become much more acute. Mystical realities begins to interpenetrate the ordinary realities of our daily lives. As we dissolve the sense of separateness that has kept us walled off from the rest of the universe, the entire universe can move and flow through us! But this must be experienced directly!

Will I be able to perform miracles when I become enlightened?
All life will become a miracle when you release the rigid conditioning of the human mind. What you call miracles then become the normal experience of life.

Will I be able to do my ordinary work when I become enlightened?
You will not be plucked out of the world. You will continue to live your life, do your work, and engage in your relationships. As you become more present with each moment, each ordinary moment will become an extraordinary experience.

Will my relationships change when I become enlightened, and how?
You will discover that what you have called love was simply the survival needs of a neurotic self. You will begin to experience unconditional love and limitless joy in all your relationships, including your relationship with yourself!

Is mass enlightenment really possible, or is this wishful thinking?
The idea of mass enlightenment is based on natural law. Whether you call it the ‘hundredth monkey phenomenon’ or the law of ‘entrainment’, the idea is that when you have a certain number of people holding a ‘higher’ state of consciousness, what we call a ‘critical mass’, the mass consciousness automatically comes into resonance with it.

Will I be able to heal people when I become enlightened?
What often happens is that your chakras and nadis become activated upon getting enlightened, which in turn activates the capacity for healing the body as well as emotional patterns from the past. The capacity for healing increases even more once you become God-realized.

Do you find that synchronicities in your life increase once you become enlightened?
Once you become enlightened, you are no longer trying to run your life from your limited perceptions of life and reality. You find that the entire universe moves through you. Synchronicities become a way of life, opportunities come your way with seemingly little effort, and life becomes spontaneous and easy.

It seems that enlightenment is generally an Eastern concept. Is it the same as becoming one with God?
It is a difference in emphasis. You can be enlightened without being God-realized. You can also be God-realized without being enlightened. But when the two go together, then you truly have the grace, power, and splendour of divine consciousness radiating through everything you are and do!

I keep hearing that Amma and Bhagavan are avatars. What is an avatar?
An avatar is a descent of divine consciousness, and can take many forms for many different purposes in order to accelerate the process of human evolution. We are at a time now as we enter the Golden Age when we preparing to transcend our current level of dualistic consciousness. Amma and Bhagavan are here with the specific mission to help humanity along this path.

What happens during the process offered by Oneness University?
You enter a fairly intense process of self-examination called “samskara shuddhi” during which you are offered the opportunity to see yourself from many facets, including the deep, dark and ugly. You see and clear your emotional issues, your negative conditioning and childhood patterns, and let go of the fixed ideas that have held you in suffering for so long. You then move along into a process of emptying, through which you see “through” the self, and thereby free yourself from the self. From this new state of being, one is prepared for the final phase of the 21-day process, which is the Divine Descent.

You are now talking about the descent of divine beings into your body. What does this have to with enlightenment? Is this the same as channeling?
This process of divine descent is being offered here at Golden City as a prelude to God-realization. It is not the same as enlightenment. Enlightenment is the emptying out of the sense of ‘self’. The divine descent is the process of becoming a vehicle for divine personalities, such as Christ, Maitreya, Kalki, or Mehdi, whose presence within you gradually increases according to your intent and desire for planetary service. This divine descent can begin as a form of ‘channeling’, in which ‘you’ are still separate from the divine beings that come through you, but over time you actually become the embodied manifestation of these primordial energies. Perhaps the most famous example of this is the process through which Jesus received the baptism of John, and received the divine descent of the ‘holy spirit’ in the form of a dove. From that point on he became Jesus Christ.

How do I know that this ‘induction’ is not a form of possession?
Possession is an uninvited and unwanted intrusion of energy, generally detrimental to the person’s experiences of life, work, and relationships. The induction is a freely chosen process where the highest aspects of divinity merge with your inner being as an expression of your desire to serve humanity. It brings out the fullness of human potential, and can often reveal a brilliance, power, and potency in a person’s life and influence that did not exist before.

You say that mass enlightenment will take place by 2012. Does this have something to do with the Mayan calendar?
The Mayan calendar does refer to 2012 as the ending of linear time, and the beginning of a new phase of experience for all creation. The Hindus also refer to this same time period as a critical moment for our collective transition into the next Golden Age. The two systems coincide, along with the visions of many people throughout the world, who have seen something new and exciting emerge on the planet around this time.

Does karma play a role in becoming enlightened? What happens to karma when you become enlightened?
Your personal karma is certainly a factor in bringing you to the doorway. Once you are at the threshold of enlightenment, however, only grace can take you through the doorway. And once the self is gone, so is your karma. There is still a measure of ‘national’ karma or ‘human’ karma that
remains, but your ‘personal’ karma disappears along with self.

I have heard of enlightened beings who did not have a guru. How can you say that a guru must give it to you?
The guru does not have to be in physical form. He could be a divine being or even your own Antaryamin. For most people, however, it is easier to trust and relate to someone who is incarnate in a physical body. The fact remains that it is a gift of grace, and must be given to you. It is like trying to escape from the prison of the mind using only the tools of the mind. The key is on the other side!

Can I expect to be enlightened when I come to do an enlightenment process at Golden City?
Let go of all expectations. You cannot achieve enlightenment through your own efforts no matter how hard you try. And if it is your time, you will be enabled to receive this gift no matter how hard you think you can resist! All you can do is to open your heart and say ‘yes’ to the experience. Let the Oneness Blessings do the rest. The universe will respond in perfect timing!

The Rabbi and I ` FOOD `

Chapter Twenty-five

FOOD

DEVOTEE:
Rabbi, what is the proper food to be eaten by a person who is on the spiritual path?
RABBI: God describes the best food for everyone, not only for those on the spiritual path: "Behold, I have given you every seed bearing plant on the face of the earth, and every tree that has seed bearing fruit. It shall be to you for food. For every beast of the field, every bird of the sky, and everything that walks the land, that has in it a living soul, all plant vegetation shall be food." [Torah, Genesis, Bereshith 1:29]
DEVOTEE: The Vedas also prescribe a vegetarian diet for every human being on the basis that it is pleasing to God. In two important verses in the Bhagavad-gita, Lord Krsna describes what we can eat and why. "If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, fruit or water, I will accept it." [Bg: 9.26] "Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer or give away, and whatever austerities you perform- do that, O son of Kunti, as an offering to Me." [Bg: 9.27]
The principle is that a devotee of the Lord should not eat anything without first offering it as sacrifice for the pleasure of the Lord. But we cannot whimsically offer just anything to the Lord and expect that He will accept it. He clearly states in an abbreviated form what He will accept, and clearly it does not include any non-vegetarian food.
RABBI: If one studies the Jewish tradition carefully, it becomes clear that it was never the desire of God that His followers eat meat. He only allowed them to do so, with great restrictions, when He saw that they were unwilling to follow a strict vegetarian diet. This was an act of His mercy because if someone directly disobeys the laws of God, he will incur great sin. But, if the Lord, seeing the unwillingness of his followers to accept His orders, makes His demands easier so the people will follow, then they will not be so thoroughly condemned.
DEVOTEE: We find the same principle in the Vedas. Although the Vedas recommend and teach the highest standards for human society, which will in turn give the greatest positive result, realizing God, they also give ample means for people of all kinds to satisfy their material desires within the religious principles of the Vedas. For example, the Vedas in general condemned animal slaughter and meat eating. Still, for those who are so addicted to eating meat that they cannot control themselves, the Vedas offer a means to eat meat according to religious principles. Such people are recommended to offer a less important animal such as a goat, in sacrifice to the goddess Kälé. They must make this sacrifice only on the dark moon night of the month and they must kill the animal themselves, and hear its pitiable scream as they cut its throat. Just before killing the animal, they must say to the animal a verse saying in effect that "I am killing you in front of the goddess Käli, but in my next life I will be killed in the same way." Clearly, the purpose of this sacrifice was not to encourage animal slaughter but to persuade people to give it up.
RABBI: This is similar to the purposes of the Kosher laws. Especially regarding meat, there are many strict procedures directly aimed at removing every drop of blood before it can be eaten. It is impossible to completely remove all the blood from meat, so the final outcome is that meat cannot be eaten without sin. Ultimately, this whole troublesome procedure for eating meat is meant to persuade religious people to adopt a vegetarian diet.
In Jewish law, a person was not only supposed to be vegetarian, but he was supposed to show great compassion and care toward his animals. This rule was so much emphasized that he was permitted to break all rules of the Sabbath if necessary to save the life of an animal or to free him from pain.

The Two Witnesses - Edgar Cayce on the Revelation

Rivers of Light Video 8: The Two Witnesses - As part of the process of becoming self-aware, we come to recognize the continuity of consciousness. In other words, we live multiple lives. Edgar Cayce tells us that the little book that is sweet in the mouth and bitter in the belly is the "Book of Life" or "book of remembrance" that contains the story of our past lives as well as our present incarnation.

So the self-analysis process goes on and on - we are constantly being given the opportunity to know ourselves. This is part of the initiation, the purification of mental and emotional patterns that we carry over from one existence to another.

In Chapter Eleven the mighty angel that gave John the book, tells him that two witnesses will be given the power to prophesy and testify. They will be killed and after three days will be raised up and ascend into heaven.

Cayce tells us that the two witnesses, also symbolized as two trees and two candlesticks, represent our past lives in the earth (reincarnation) and our past lives in other realms (planetary sojourns associated with astrology).

The Throne Room - Edgar Cayce on the Revelation

Rivers of Light Video 3: The Throne Room -- Chapter Four of the Revelation states that John was in spirit, meaning that he had altered his consciousness - allowing him to be instantly present in the throne room.

The Edgar Cayce readings identify the Throne Room as the brain with its nerves and glands. For example, the twenty-four elders represent the 24 cranial nerves. The practical implications of Cayce's approach are discussed with regard to deep meditation and how the spiritual centers in the brain are attuned when entering the silence.

Did Edgar Cayce speak about 2012?

What, if anything, did the Edgar Cayce readings have to say about 2012, and the arrival of a New Age? Executive director and CEO of Edgar Cayces A.R.E., Kevin Todeschi, answers your question in this short video.

A New World Order in this context is not about the supremacy of certain nations over other nations; instead, it is about a new focus for the world as a whole. That focus is about truly understanding that each and every one of us is Our Brothers/Sisters Keeper. In other words, we as individuals and as nations are responsible for every single individual who is less fortunate than ourselves. The Edgar Cayce readings describe that responsibility in this way: make of thine OWN heart an understanding that thou must answer for thine own brother, for thine own neighbor! and who is thine neighbor? He that lives next door, or he that lives on the other side of the world? He, rather, that is in NEED of understanding! He who has faltered; he who has fallen even by the way. HE is thine neighbor, and thou must answer for him! (Edgar Cayce reading #3976-8) From Cayces perspective, the next Age will eventually embody an understanding of this focus.
